Join Macsteel for a 12-month intensive internship within our demand planning department. In this position the successful candidate will assist the demand planning department with their administrative tasks as well as learning about forecasting, inventory, and supply chain.Minimum Requirements
Requirements:
- Have a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- Able to communicate in English (read, write, and speak(
- Aged between 20 and 28
- Not studying and available to complete the training
- Proof of banking details (letter from the bank)
- SARS letter
Duties and Responsibilities:
As part of your internship exposure will be given to the following aspects:
- General administrative functions in the demand planning department
- Support the demand forecasting function
- Assist with maintaining the demand planning department reports
- Assist with data collection and analysis
- Assist with developing product demand plans
- Identifying customers needs and planning accordingly
