Purpose Of Internship:

The primary purpose of this role is to support engineering activities. There are many aspects required from Production support, Investigation support, MRP implementation and Documentation support.

• Production support – Find and read drawings, link issues to the relevant parts that could contribute and make reasonable judgement about the most likely offender.

• Analyze the production team’s inputs for the problem they are having.   Use knowledge from drawing\assembly combined with Logical thinking to ask the correct questions and drive the investigation

• Investigative support – Take problems that have been raised sort where the investigation should be aligned. 

Use tools to identify possible root causes and contributors. This includes:

• Ishikawa \ FTA \ Excel data
• MRP support for Oracle implementation – Navigate through oracle and understand the process flow.

• Find possible issues\ corrections required.

• Manage uploads to the system, revisions, drawings 

• Documentation support – Create and update documentation, ie maintenance manuals.

• Safety Support – Investigations and general support

• Quality Improvements – Investigations and general support

• Productivity Improvements – Investigations and general support.

Qualification Required:

• 3 Years Tertiary Qualification (Engineering) Degree/DiplomaStrong analytical and research skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in manufacturing and Engineering
• Strong knowledge of operational functions & cross functional inter dependencies
