Qualification
- Grade 12
- Skills Development Facilitator or similar qualification
- Diploma in Human Resource Management and Practices
Knowledge
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with government regulations and institutional policies.
- Understanding of SETA processes, learnership and internship compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of WSP/ATR reporting cycles, formats, and submission requirements.
- Familiarity with discretionary and mandatory grant criteria and documentation standards.
- Knowledge of skills development legislation and the Skills Development Act.
Skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow procedures and work systematically.
- Ability to manage multiple learning programme workflows (bursaries, learnerships, internships) simultaneously.
- Strong administrative and document-management skills for SETA audits and verifications.
- Basic data analysis and reconciliation skills for tracking skills spend.
- Stakeholder coordination skills (SETA officials, training providers, internal departments).
- Ability to interpret compliance requirements and ensure accurate submissions.
- Numeracy and mathematical skills
On-the job training
- Training on bursary management system.
- Self-study of all existing bursary policies, guidelines and agreements
- Exposure to internal skills spend tracking and reporting procedures.
