Position: Training Solution Administrator

Qualification

  • Grade 12
  • Skills Development Facilitator or similar qualification
  • Diploma in Human Resource Management and Practices

Knowledge

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with government regulations and institutional policies.
  • Understanding of SETA processes, learnership and internship compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of WSP/ATR reporting cycles, formats, and submission requirements.
  • Familiarity with discretionary and mandatory grant criteria and documentation standards.
  • Knowledge of skills development legislation and the Skills Development Act.

Skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures and work systematically.
  • Ability to manage multiple learning programme workflows (bursaries, learnerships, internships) simultaneously.
  • Strong administrative and document-management skills for SETA audits and verifications.
  • Basic data analysis and reconciliation skills for tracking skills spend.
  • Stakeholder coordination skills (SETA officials, training providers, internal departments).
  • Ability to interpret compliance requirements and ensure accurate submissions.
  • Numeracy and mathematical skills

On-the job training

  • Training on bursary management system.
  • Self-study of all existing bursary policies, guidelines and agreements
  • Exposure to internal skills spend tracking and reporting procedures.
