Overview Programme:
The apprenticeship is designed to help individuals to assist them in obtaining or gain trade qualification. This opportunity consist of both theory and on-the-job training to help obtaining the national trade test.
Purpose:
This is an Apprenticeship Programme where incumbents will be trained in either the Millwright or Fitter and Turner trade. The successful incumbent will be appointed in an hourly rated position for the duration of the programme.

Minimum Qualifications Required:
Millwright:
- NTC3 or Technical Matric with the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Electrical Trade Theory or Mechanical Trade Theory
- Technical Drawing / Graphical Design.
- Relevant workshop experience in the trade related discipline will be advantageous.
Fitter & Turner:
- NTC3 or Technical Matric with the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Fitter & Turner Trade Theory
- Technical Drawing
- Relevant workshop experience in the trade related discipline will be advantageous
